Derived from Latin modo in the sense “just now,” the English word modern was not originally concerned with anything that could later be considered old-fashioned. It simply meant “being at this time, now existing”
Vmodern was commissioned by (t)here for 24hour Art Berlin. An art project where artists from all over the world met for one day in Berlin and were randomly given a theme for their art project. The project had to be executed in exactly 24h.

With Vmodern I aimed to capture the elusive "Now" by taking a picture of myself every minute for 24 hours.
